A brief summary about the history:
The tradition of paper making in Le Marche region and Fabriano city dates 800 years back in time, with Renaissance being the period when it reached highest peak and Michelangelo being one of the clients who was getting his paper supplies in Fabriano.
The tradition is still alive, and also today you can experience the fine art of paper making yourself.
Here you can follow the steps of paper making in pictures and maybe soon experience it yourself soon!
