WW How would you define your wedding style? BRW Simple and rustic.

WW Is there any story about you, your proposal or your wedding day you’d like to share?

BRW Ruston really surprised me for our proposal! I came home from work on a Thursday and he said, pack a bag we are headed somewhere warm for the next few days!!! I had a big meeting at work that Friday and meetings on Monday. Turns out he had called my boss and told her what he was up to and I was out of work, all without my knowledge!! He wouldn’t tell me where we were headed until we arrived at the airport. He surprised me with a trip to Mexico where he proposed in a sweet and simple way, on the beach, just the two of us under the moonlight.

WW What was your inspiration while planning your wedding?

BRW We wanted the Italian countryside to be our decoration because it is unlike anything here in Colorado. We wanted to keep things very simple and natural. Foraging olive branches and rosemary from the gorgeous grounds

surrounding Villa Tereze, candles and lights hanging from the trees around the villa. Villa Tereze was the most inspiring location to get married with its gorgeous surroundings and the beautiful house fitting the country side perfectly.

WW What colors did you pick? Can you tell us what flowers did your florist use?

BRW We chose green and cream. I worked as a florist for many years so I put together all the bouquets
and boutonnieres using just olive branches that my bridesmaids and I forged off the property of the Villa.
For our reception table I made a runner of olive branches and rosemary, again that we forged from the property.

WW Is there something you would have done differently? Do you have any advice for future brides?

BRW We wouldn’t have changed a thing about our wedding it was beyond our imagination. Go with a wedding that fits your personality and don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. We wanted laid back, rustic and simple and it made the wedding very true to our personalities and turned out amazing.

Andrea Vincenzetti were some incredible folk artists who our wedding organizer Renate Auzina found for us and was definitely the icing on the cake!
